Join Hapuku Kitchen & Top Catch Charters and celebrate Crayfest 2023 by experiencing the Kaikōura coastline, its abundantly rich aquatic life and a wide range of kai moana (seafood). Combine a 2-3 hours fishing trip, then take your catch into the kitchen and learn to fillet and cook your catch!

Celebrate Crayfest by Catching your own kai moana (seafood) with a few hours on the ocean and then off to the Kitchen to prepare and eat your catch.
Starting with Malcolm from Top Catch Charters for a fun packed fishing trip to catch your main seafood ingredients. Once your back on shore, spend the afternoon at Hapuku Kitchen with Fiona Read and learn the skilful art of preparing and cooking your own fresh catch before sitting down with a glass of local wine or beer, to enjoy your well earned feast. This experience will need a minimum of 4 guests to proceed.
